A 45-minute walk through Dublin city centre with our Emerald Guide. Transports tickets will be discussed as well. A great activity for new students on their first day.
This seminar is for all new students who will need to go and register with the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service. Opening a bank account, requesting a PPS number, and taking holidays will be discussed as well.
The Guinness Storehouse is Ireland’s number visitor attraction. Not only do we offer a special discounted price for ECI students, but we also provide an ECI guide to accompany students to the venue. The tour lasts about 1 hour and finishes up on the seventh floor, in the Gravity Bar with some specular views of Dublin and of course, a complimentary pint of Guinness. The Book of Kells is the centrepiece of an exhibition which attracts over 500,000 visitors to Trinity College in Dublin City each year. Written around the year 800 AD, the Book of Kells contains a richly decorated copy of the four gospels in a Latin text, based on the Vulgate edition (completed by St. Jerome in 384 AD).
