Chester Beatty Library is a museum that displays exhibit manuscripts, miniature paintings,prints, drawings, rare books, and some decorative arts from the Persian, Islamic, East Asian,and Western Collections. Please sign up for this activity by Wednesday. Emerald reserves the right to cancel this activity due toa low number of participants (minimum 6 students required).
A 45-minute walk through Dublin city centre with our Emerald Guide. Transports tickets will be discussed as well. A great activity for new students on their first day.
This seminar is for all new students who will need to go and register with the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service. Opening a bank account, requesting a PPS number, and taking holidays will be discussed as well.
The Book of Kells is the centrepiece of an exhibition which attracts over 500,000 visitors to Trinity College in Dublin City each year. Written around the year 800 AD, the Book of Kells contains a richly decorated copy of the four gospels in a Latin text, based on the Vulgate edition (completed by St. Jerome in 384 AD).
