Protection for Enrolled Learners

Eligible non-EEA programmes include learner-protection arrangements intended to support continuation of tuition if a provider can no longer deliver a programme.

The applicable cover, provider and eligibility are confirmed in your current booking and policy documents. Current documents should always take precedence during Ireland’s transition from ILEP to TrustEd Ireland.

Personal Support

The Emerald Mentoring Service

Long-term students are assigned a tutor for the duration of their programme. During the first week, the tutor explains the academic structure and discusses individual goals, including examination plans.

Monthly check-ins and weekly attendance monitoring help track progress and address concerns. Students can approach their mentor or teachers whenever extra guidance is needed.

Student Welfare

The Student Welfare Team is available to help students feel welcome and at home throughout their stay.

The team offers practical advice about accommodation, finding work in Ireland, immigration, banking and other welfare needs. Students are also encouraged to join Emerald’s varied Social and Cultural Programme.
