About This Course
Participants will explore the core principles of UDL and apply them to lesson design, materials, activities, and assessment. The focus is on practical strategies that support diverse learning needs, strengths, and preferences across subjects and educational settings.
Through interactive sessions, collaborative tasks, and hands-on practice, participants will develop concrete approaches to inclusive teaching that can be applied immediately. The course emphasises flexibility, learner choice, and creating supportive learning environments where all learners can participate and progress.

- Understand the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and their relevance across educational contexts
- Identify common barriers to learning and apply UDL guidelines to reduce or remove them
- Design and adapt materials and activities offering multiple means of engagement and representation
- Implement inclusive and flexible teaching strategies to support diverse learner needs
- Create classroom environments that promote participation, motivation, and learner autonomy
